It is a great honour for me to welcome you in the 4**** Meridian Hotel in Termez. I know that a lot of special guests will join the evening with us and it will take to much time to welcome everyone personally. So let me even say it on German: Herzlich Willkommen.

 

It took a long time to build this wonderful hotel and we are glad to present you today your first address in Termez. As I am here in Uzbekistan and in Termez only since 4 weeks I have had not many possibilities to be introduced to the Usbekian traditions and celebrations of the different ceremonies.

Either I was already able to realize the kindness and the welcoming of guests by the Usbekian people. Especially my first Usbekian event in the house of the family Pulatov. So my start in this interesting and wonderful country was much easier than I expected. Now I know the taste of vodka and how to pay a taxi driver like a local. Thanks to all the friendly and helpful people.

 

Today is a very important day in three ways:

For me, because I have the honour to open my first hotel in the position of the General Manager together with you. So I like to say thank you for the confidence to manage the Meridian Hotel Termez on an international standard you expect.

 

Important is this day although for the investors as this is the official opening of an institution which will stay for success and future in the hospitality industry of Uzbekistan and Termez.

 

But most important is this day for our business partners, which there are Travel Agencies, national and international companies and partner of the German Military and Government institutions. Starting today all of you will have a professional associate in questions of travel accommodation and conferences & banqueting.

 

Without you and your guests it will be not possible to increase the Meridian Hotel Termez to a synonym of high service standards, quality and hospitality and to the number one on the Termez hotel market.

 

As you see there are little details still in work. But be ensure, that the owner, our employees and me together with my assistant Mr. Sheraliev are working very concentrate on this to finish all facilities and services as soon as possible.

Although I promise that our team will always keep attention on the convenience of our guests.

 

This is a good chance to say thank you very much to Mr. Sheraliev for the organisation of this evening and the employees of the Meridian Hotel for their motivation to serve up enough drinks and tasteful dishes.

They are here to fulfil wishes before you realize that they are existing. And I can imagine that this is the most important reason for you to make business with us.
